Power to the Faint

ISA 40:29 to 31 – He giveth power to the faint;
and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.

He giveth power to the faint

There isn’t anything called “hell breaking  loose” in a believers life; yes, there are situations that can look intimidating, dangerous or confusing, but there never is something called “hopelessness” in a Christians life. The Christian’s character is in stark contrast with that of the world’s, for though he can be physically beaten, you can never strike his spirit a lethal blow. Though he faces poverty, he never takes his gaze off from the riches he has in Christ. Though he may be shaken, he never gives up climbing on the rock that is Jesus. He knows, knows beyond any doubt, that for God’s power to be displayed in his life, there must not be any power left in Him, for if there be any power in him then the glory goes to man, and that cannot be.God never shares His glory with man. So he delights in his own powerlessness, for he knows  that this is a great opportunity for his strength to be made perfect, he know that it is his moment to be imparted with divine power. And he know that this is the beginning of impossibilities in his life, and therefore he shouts victoriously : strength made perfect in weakness!
